Damit wirst du alle nötigen Körpermaße nehmen. Maßbänder sind in verschieden Farben erhältlich und in der Regel 150cm lang und 18mm weit. Sie sind sehr flexibel, aber nicht dehnbar, damit korrekte Messungen vorgenommen werden können. Erhältlich vieler Orts, Schneider und Hobby Läden, gößeren Supermärkten, Stoffhändler etc.

I want to try and make my own latex clothing but there is something I don’t understand. When you take the measurements then what? How do you know which shapes to cut, and how do you use the measurements, when drawing out the shapes?
I guess this is a total basic thing, but without understanding it, I can’t see how I should get started

that are questions which are not answered that shortly. I will take that topic up again in my blog, but it might be a good idea for you to check up on pattern books or some blogs etc. if you cant wait to start. There you can get an idea of how those basic shapes look like.

quick question. I’ve done other pattern drafting with regular knits. To transfer this to latex are as many seams necessary? It seems a latex suit only needs a seam at the side? Is this enough to get a tight fit?
