I Love it! Having done some leather upholstery work I have found that there are leather upholstery tacks that look really nice you can get them in lots of different finishes. Also if because I am used to sewing it and not gluing it I would have put a flap on each side of the corner cut then seamed that together folding the flap inside would this work as well for Latex?

Lg , Ralf

The durability depends on how you take care of it and how you use it.
F.x. the chair I made, I polish it from time to time to keep it nice and shiny and thats about it. Its not slippery as long as it is not swimming in polish.
Here I use a sponge to apply slightly the polish (I use the white milky polish from Blackstyle).
If you use it a lot, have it in everyday use and there is a lot of friction to it, then you will of course see after some time that the latex might become doll there. But I cant tell you how long that will take.
Prone to damage..here I can only say, the thicker the latex the better, dont make gardening furniture out of it and dont stand with your shoes on it. :)
