I live in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy Latex Sheeting. I was looking for latex sheeting online and i found Radical but thats all the way in London. I don't know if I have enough money to pay for the shipping and stuff to Pennsylvania.

you can get pretty thick latex to do that, but you can also glue panels together, it all depends on the look you want. But the latex doesnt have to be super thick to make it sturdy.

I like Kink Engineering for latex in the USA. They have an excellent selection of colors, and fair pricing.

Hi everybody, I have just come across this site and I think it’s amazing!!!! I am very new to rubber/latex but I am a 3rd year mature fashion student and have knowledge of construction/pattern cutting...... and i'm just wondering what thickness would be best for making really heavy duty corsets? If I couldn’t find the thickness I want would I be able to glue multiple sheets together to make the panels thicker? And any tips on corset making with rubber would be greatly appreciated Thank you for your help :) x

@Medea:

Hi Medea,
I like Your idea to use what You have..
practically You will find it almost impossible to glew those stripes together without bubbles of air or glew in between or uneven strain on them, (causing wrinkles) so that they will stretch smoothly in the end. But if this is the effect You want, give it a try...
good luck and let us know how You did ;-)

I didn't know where to put this question so I'm putting it here. I have a ton of those exercise bands(dont ask why) they are all the same thickness. The problem is the thickness is only .12mm too thin for the skirt I wanna make. So my question is have you ever layered thinner sheets of latex together to get one thick piece? Do you think it could work?

Thanks for your help!
